disparidades sanitarias<\/span><\/h3>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div>\n<p>En consonancia con nuestra misi\u00f3n, el Centro de Salud de Auraria se esfuerza por ofrecer servicios m\u00e9dicos y de salud mental equitativos e inclusivos. Nos comprometemos a prestar servicios que tengan en cuenta la raza y la cultura. Nuestro objetivo es asegurarnos de que estamos satisfaciendo las necesidades espec\u00edficas de la diversa base de componentes de Auraria y siempre estamos abiertos a sugerencias que puedan mejorar la capacidad del Centro de Salud para satisfacer dichas necesidades.  <\/p>\n<p>Reconocemos la historia de las pr\u00e1cticas opresivas y perjudiciales que se han utilizado para &#8220;tratar&#8221; a los grupos marginados y minoritarios tanto en el \u00e1mbito m\u00e9dico como en el de la salud mental. Ejemplos de ello son el estudio Tuskegee, las discrepancias basadas en la raza en el diagn\u00f3stico de la esquizofrenia entre los pacientes blancos y los BIPOC y la continua mala interpretaci\u00f3n o desestimaci\u00f3n de los informes de dolor de los pacientes de color. Estos son s\u00f3lo algunos ejemplos de los factores que contribuyen a que las comunidades marginadas y minoritarias reciban un tratamiento y un acceso a la atenci\u00f3n inadecuados, a la desconfianza en el sistema m\u00e9dico y de salud mental y al consiguiente trauma intergeneracional.  <\/p>\n<p>Los datos nacionales documentan importantes disparidades sanitarias en las comunidades marginadas.Estas disparidades pueden incluir el acceso a la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica, la prevalencia de traumas o las tasas m\u00e1s altas de problemas de salud m\u00e9dica\/mental.El personal profesional del Centro de Salud de Auraria, incluyendo nuestro personal estudiantil, participa activamente en oportunidades de desarrollo profesional para educar a nuestro equipo sobre las desigualdades y disparidades de salud que potencialmente impactan a nuestros estudiantes, profesores y personal. Nos comprometemos a mejorar continuamente nuestra comprensi\u00f3n de las desigualdades en materia de salud, para que nuestro equipo pueda formar parte de la identificaci\u00f3n de soluciones con y para la comunidad del campus.  <\/p>\n<p>M\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la atenci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica que se presta habitualmente en el Centro de Salud, trabajamos activamente para establecer relaciones y colaboraciones con departamentos y organizaciones, as\u00ed como con profesionales externos, para ofrecer <a href=\"https:\/\/healthcenter1.com\/es\/solicitudes-de-presentacion\/\">presentaciones<\/a>, programas y materiales educativos oportunos y culturalmente relevantes.Estas oficinas, entre las que se incluyen el Centro para el Compromiso y la Inclusi\u00f3n Multiculturales (CMEI) de la MSU de Denver, el Centro de Recursos LGBTQ y el Centro para la Identidad y la Inclusi\u00f3n (CII) de la CU de Denver, han ofrecido orientaci\u00f3n y apoyo para que el Centro de Salud reeval\u00fae las pol\u00edticas, las pr\u00e1cticas y los servicios prestados con el fin de construir un sistema de
