Welcome to the
Health Center at Auraria
The Health Center at Auraria is a tri-institutional department that provides Medical Services and Mental Health Services for all students, faculty and staff on the Auraria Campus. We are committed to caring for each member of this diverse community with sensitivity and respect. The Health Center at Auraria is an in-network medical provider for most Colorado offered Health Insurance, is easily accessible and provides high-quality care and Outreach Programs.
Vision
To ensure the provision of innovative, cost-effective and high quality medical and mental healthcare that aligns with current industry standards and to provide an environment that is welcoming for patients and employees that promotes student and employee retention.
Mission
I. Provide innovative health services for the tri-institutional campus community through expanded infrastructure, technology, and services.
II. Provide health education and wellness programming that complements the strategic plans and academic missions of the higher education institutions on the Auraria Campus.
III. Provide professional medical expertise and administrative leadership regarding critical campus priorities such as public health and safety, student health insurance, immunizations, disaster preparedness and emergency response.
IV. Provide equitable, inclusive, and culturally responsive medical and mental health services to the diverse populations on the Auraria Campus.

The Health Center at Auraria is fully accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). This status signifies that the Health Center at Auraria meets and maintains the highest standards of patient care through consistent quality improvement processes and meeting the professional clinical standards established by the AAAHC. The Health Center abides by the standard health Privacy Practices, Confidentiality & HIPAA Requirements and have Patient Rights and Responsibilities outlined. All patients are able to access their Health Records.

The MSU Denver Student Health Insurance office coordinates the MSU Denver Student Health Insurance Plan. This office can assist you with any questions you have about the MSU Denver Student Health Insurance Plan.
